Canyon has had this since it's release in 2011, so I'm really happy to see Stadium getting it as well. And of course they emit light, so they'll be awesome to create certain types of atmosphere in your tracks. They're using the same light blocks Stadium has had for years, but now you can use the paint tool in-game (the same one you use to pick signs) to change the color of the lights. They're really cool.Īnd lastly, the colored light blocks. I've already seen people use them for bridges and things. There's also a new Arena/Platform to GridStraight (the flat wallride-type blocks) transition block. And these angled pillars are really nice for making interesting architecture or making sure signs are connected to the ground without worrying about a straight pillar colliding with your track route. Now 1x1 and 4x4 are added, in addition to some corner blocks, much like Island platforms have.Īnd then there's some new pipe blocks. It's like if you had a J for Jump button on your controller, only it's triggered by the block. Basically your car just jumps up in the air when you drive onto them. Then there's the orange blocks with the bright yellow and red springs on them. You can accelerate and brake, but the steering is disabled. Car becomes very slidy, like driving on ice.
